Aldo Belmonte, an artistic photographer from Allihies, discussed his career as both a fashion and artistic photographer.
Eddie Jenkins, a ceramic artist in Rosscarbery, examined the differences between a ceramic artist and a potter, and uses of clay.
Mary Mackey, a painter and stained glass artist from Clonakilty, guided students in the creation of mosaics.
Mairead McCarthy, an animator and sculptor from Skibbereen, worked with students on animation techniques. She also discussed some of the difficulties in getting work in animation.
Susan O'Mullane, based in Cork, discussed her training as an artist and the role of the figure in art.
Aisling Roache, a sculptor from Cork/Baltimore, gave the group a design brief to create cutlery for people with learning difficulties.
Noelle Noonan, a printmaker from Cork Printmakers, discussed her subject and got the group to design monoprints.
Kate Buckley, based in Cork, discussed her work as artist in residence with a theatre company.
Triona Carey, based in Drimoleague, examined Internet art.
Tom Halliday, a cartoonist from Skibbereen, treated students to an examination of different types of cartoons from comic strip to political satire.
