This is UL's SOUL week, where all the societies in the college make a major effort to highlight their profiles. Organiser Paul Lee says the occasion introduces a novel element of competition to societies.

Highlights include a "Green" fair run by the Environmental Society tomorrow until 4 p.m., to include organic fruit and vegetable stalls, alternative-medicine sellers and street theatre. The international food fair on Thursday should also be unmissable.
