On or off-campus programmes are designed to make mainstream third-level courses available to those living outside the major conurbations. Many of the courses offered are identical to those taught on the college campus and students can achieve the same qualifications depending on the course option chosen. The National College of Ireland is currently based in Ranelagh in Dublin (with a move to the Docklands on the cards next year), but it offers courses at 40 locations around the State. The college specialises in courses in business, e-commerce, management, human resources, computing and business law. For those unable to travel, online and distance learning programmes are also available. For information e-mail info@ncirl.ie or telephone 1850 221 721.
