Racing: Dwayne Dunn, who rides joint-favourite Tawqeet in the Melbourne Cup, identified Aidan O'Brien's Yeats as his biggest danger in Tuesday's Flemington feature.
John Dunlop's former charge will strive to become the 12th horse to complete the Caulfield Cup- Melbourne Cup double after his terrific success last month.
But Dunn, whose masterful control at the helm played a pivotal role when Tawqeet won at Caulfield, believes his charge will need a career-best performance to lower the colours of Yeats.
"If Yeats is back to his best he looks pretty awesome," said Dunn. "But he had to travel here and it is very difficult to do - he has to be a superstar.
"If they were racing in England, Yeats would be even-money and Tawqeet would be 20-1, so that has to be considered.
"But Yeats can 'be there' one day and not the next, so I hope he's having the day off."
