Gardaí in Dublin have seized a drugs haul worth an estimated €2 million.

A joint operation between the Garda National Drugs Unit, Customs and local Garda Drugs Units made the seizure last night.

Gardaí searched a house in the Clondalkin area last night and 150 kilogrammes of cannabis resin was seized.

Two men, aged 42 and 32, were been arrested and are detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act.

It is understood the drugs arrived by ferry in Dublin Port yesterday and were being transferred to two cars when gardaí raided the house.

Gardaí say the find was made through "risk profiling", and both arrested men are understood to be known to gardaí.
