Drugs worth €120,000 seized in Dublin raid

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €120,000 in Dublin today.

Two men have been arrested following the seizure of drugs with an estimated street value of €120,000 in Dublin today.

The men, both in their 20s, are being held at Dundrum Garda Station under Section Two of the Drug Trafficking Act.

The drugs seized consisted of cocaine, ecstasy and cannabis. A large amount of cash was also found.

Meanwhile, four people have been released following the seizure by gardaí and Customs officials of cocaine with an estimated street value of €30,000 in Clondalkin yesterday.

Two Irishmen, both aged 31, and a Nigerian husband and wife, aged 31 and 33, were arrested in connection with the seizure and were detained at Clondalkin Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice Drug Trafficking Act 1996.

All four were released without charge. A file is being prepared for the DPP.
