A man in his 40's is in custody in Coolock under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act following the seizure of 35 kilogrammes of cannabis and a half kilo of cocaine with an estimated street value of €500,000.
The drugs were found when a car was stopped and searched in Coolock.
The seizure took place early this afternoon and was a joint opeartion between the Garda National Drugs Unit and the Coolock Drugs Unit operation
