Gardai said yesterday that the Co Donegal boy whose body was found on a beach on Tuesday probably died accidentally. "He was probably burrowing into a sand dune which collapsed on him", a Garda spokesperson said.

The boy was named as Anthony Joseph Price (13), from Bundoran.

He was reported missing last Saturday. His body was discovered on Tullan strand and was removed to Sligo General Hospital. The Assistant Chief State Pathologist, Dr Marie Cassidy, carried out a post-mortem examination.
