London - Britain yesterday unveiled the design for a £1.7 million walkway through four royal parks to commemorate the life of Princess Diana.

The seven-mile walk through London's St James's Park, Green Park, Hyde Park and Kensington Gardens will be charted by 70 plaques.

A Diana fountain is also to be built in London, the Chancellor, Mr Gordon Brown, confirmed yesterday.
