The Magherafelt Youth Band, Co Derry, formed only two years ago, has been invited to take part in the Rose of Tralee Festival. Some 40 boys and girls aged between six and 18 years will be in the parade leading the "Roses" from all over the world through the streets of Tralee to open the festival tomorrow night week. The band currently holds the Ulster Fleadh Championship and the Northern Province Band Federation League titles.
