Buenos Aires - A suspected drug dealer disguised as a doctor was caught trying to sneak into the hospital room where former soccer idol Diego Maradona is recovering from cocaine abuse, his doctor said yesterday.
The intruder escaped after being discovered by staff at the Sacred Heart clinic in Buenos Aires, where Maradona has been convalescing after falling ill with hypertension and an irregular heart beat 10 days ago in Uruguay.
"His sickness is caused by cocaine. This is like giving kilos of salt to a hyper tense person so he has a cardiovascular attack," the doctor said.
