The daughter of one of the Dail's longest serving members, Cavan Monaghan deputy Mr Jimmy Leonard, is to seek a Fianna Fail nomination for his seat. Mr Leonard recently said he will not be seeking reelection. Ms Anne Leonard, of Smithborough, is a nurse.
