A plan by the Office of Public Works to extend the Leinster House restaurant during the summer break of politicians has been can celled.
The extension to the restaurant could not be completed in time for the Dail's return in early October, the OPW told a Dail committee.
Meanwhile, construction of a 260-space car-park underneath Leinster Lawn will begin before October.
