Republic of Ireland manager Mick McCarthy has called up Bohemian’s striker Glen Crowe for training with the squad as they prepare for the crucial World Cup Group 2 qualifiers against Portugal and Estonia next month.
Crowe, the eircom League’s leading goalscorer with 35 goals, spearheaded the Gypsies double winning campaign, and McCarthy recognised the striker’s devastating form and rewarded it by adding his name to the 25 strong panel.
