The manager of Cavan Credit Union, which he said was technically insolvent when he took over the job less than a year ago, has claimed in the High Court that he recently returned from holiday to discover he was facing dismissal.
John McCourt yesterday launched a legal challenge against his purported dismissal, which he said was to take effect from today.
