An order preventing ordinary building work at Cruson Developments site on Cathal Brugha Street is to remain in force, a High Court judge said yesterday.

Ms Justice Laffoy yesterday continued the order allowing only remedial works to be carried out for the purposes of improving safety on the site.

The existing order preventing building work resuming on the site remains in force and the case was adjourned to Monday.

Cruson Developments Ltd is engaged in the construction of a hotel at Cathal Brugha Street, but the High Court last month ordered that all work at that site cease after being told of a number of alleged breaches of health and safety regulations.
