A man accused of threatening a 13 year old newspaper boy with a syringe to obtain cash outside a city church was remanded on bail yesterday.

Mr Ray Fitzpatrick (21), of Kilbarron Drive, Coolock, Dublin, was charged in the Dublin District Court with stealing £7 from the paper boy outside Whitehall Church on January 21st.

Judge David Riordan remanded Mr Fitzpatrick on continuing bail to April 11th for the service of a book of evidence.
