KEY DATES FOR THE CLASS OF 2011

TODAY

Leaving Certificate results sent to over 700 schools; also available online at examinations.ie from 12 noon.

NEXT MONDAY

The CAO release the round one offers to candidates online at 6am.

Offer Notices are sent by post to candidates, and will arrive on Monday the 22nd also. Minimum points required for entry to each course will also be available on the CAO website from 6 a.m. on that date.

TUESDAY AUGUST 23RD 2011

Deadline for Leaving Certificate students who want to view some exam papers; they must complete the application form and return it to their school by this date.

MONDAY AUGUST 29TH 2011 (5.15 PM)

This is the closing date for receipt of acceptance of CAO round one offer’s.

WEDNESDAY 31ST AUGUST 2011

The CAO will post round two offer notices to applicants, to arrive by post on Thursday September 1st . The minimum points required for entry to each course will also appear on the CAO website at 6.00 am on the 1st September.

SEPTEMBER 2ND 3RD 2011

Students, along with one other person of their choice, will have an opportunity to view their exam papers in school, on either or both of these dates. These cannot be viewed unless the student is present.

WEDNESDAY 7TH SEPTEMBER 2011 (5.15 PM)

Closing date for receipt of acceptance of CAO round two offers. It is also the closing date for receipt of Leaving Certificate appeal applications, from those who want their papers re assessed.

12TH OCTOBER 2011

Release of the results of Leaving Certificate appeals. Final offers of places by the CAO will be made up to the 19th October.
