Kim Collins, winner of the men's 100m final at the Commonwealth Games, has tested positive for prohibited substance salbutamol.
But a Commonwealth Games Federation statement tonight said that "the use of salbutamol is permitted under certain conditions".
The statement read: "The levels found in Collins' sample was consistent with normal with normal therapeutic use and was not considered to be performance enhancing."
