Aviano - President Clinton paid tribute to NATO's airmen yesterday at a victory rally with allied pilots.
"You have repeatedly put your lives on the line to save the lives of innocent civilians and turn back the tide of ethnic cleansing," he told several thousand airmen in a huge hangar at Italy's Aviano air base. "Thank you. Thank you. Thank you."
