Caracas - Venezuela's left-leaning President Hugo Chavez is expected to coast to victory when he seeks an expanded six-year term in late May, an opinion poll released yesterday said.
The nation-wide survey of 1,500 people by local pollsters Consultores 21 found that 71 per cent said they would vote for the former paratrooper if the presidential election was held now.
