London - Eighty centenarians, including first World War veterans, arrived in London yesterday for what is believed to be the largest gathering of 100year-olds. Thirty-four British centenarians were among those who flew in to London City Airport for a day out in the capital.

After landing, the centenarians went on a tour of London. At lunch, they listened to the reading of a personal message from the Queen Mother.
