The main venue for this year’s Humbert Summer School will be Castlebar in Co Mayo.
Traditionally the summer school has been based at Ballina but director John Cooney said “a series of exceptional circumstances” meant he could not find a venue there this year.
The 24th summer school will be based at the Harlequin Hotel, Castlebar, for three of its four days, beginning on Thursday, August 19th.
Some events will take place at the Travellers’ Friend Royal Hotel and Theatre, also in Castlebar.
