The Dublin West Action Group has warned that the proposed casino for the Phoenix Park would be no more than a "super arcade" with over 1,000 slot machines, and says it would have serious social consequences.
Mr Harry Shiels of the action group was speaking in advance of today's Bord Pleanala oral hearing, which will hear objections to the proposed development.
