A new group, the Cannabis Legalisation Party, is to run two candidates in the forthcoming general election.
Mr Tim Murphy, a lecturer in constitutional law in University College Cork is to run in Cork South Central while freelance journalist, Mr Olaf Tyaransen, is to contest a seat in Dun Laoghaire.
