Washington - President Bush faced a struggle to advance his agenda in the divided US Congress, even as a poll released yesterday showed his approval ratings at their lowest point since he took office six months ago. The USA Today/Gallup/CNN poll, which found that 52 per cent of Americans questioned in late June approved of the job Mr Bush was doing, echoed other national surveys showing a similar erosion of the President's popularity.
