Washington - President Bush yesterday said he would reopen US talks with North Korea, stalled since the end of the Clinton administration.
"I have directed my national security team to undertake serious discussions with North Korea on a broad agenda," said Mr Bush in a written statement issued at the end of a policy review of the accelerated engagement approach followed by the former president, Mr Bill Clinton.
