Pristina - British army peacekeepers serving in Kosovo with NATO were hurriedly deployed yesterday to the ethnically divided Kosovan town of Mitrovica, Christian Jennings reports.
French troops in the town had found themselves at the centre of a storm of criticism following their alleged refusal and failure to protect Albanian civilians from rampaging Serb mobs last week.
