A special meeting of the steering committee of the British Irish Parliamentary Body will be held in London early next week to review recent developments in Northern Ireland.

The request for a meeting of the body, following the Drumcree march, is believed to have come from its former joint chairman, Mr Dermot Ahern (FE). The steering committee, chaired jointly by Mr Paul Bradford and Mr Peter Temple Morris, will meet in London on Monday evening and continue on Tuesday.

Fianna Fail will ask the body to send observers to Derry on August 10th for the Apprentice Boys parade.
