LONDON - Britain's biggest holiday airline, Britannia, is dropping the word "royal" from its in flight service because it "no longer has positive associations".

Its public relations chief, Mr Richard Hedges, said market research had found that the name "royal" no longer has "the positive associations it had when we introduced it on flights in 1992".
