A young boy was killed in Cork yesterday when he fell out of a van being driven down Kilmore Road in Knocknaheeny. The boy was travelling with his uncle in the van when the side door opened and he fell out, gardai said.
He suffered serious head injuries and was rushed to Cork University Hospital but was pronounced dead on arrival shortly after 5 p.m. Gardai have not yet released his name.
