The Hague - The UN war crimes tribunal sentenced the Bosnian Croat Anto Furundzija to 10 years in prison yesterday for failing to prevent a subordinate from beating two prisoners and raping a Muslim woman during interrogation. Furundzija (29) commanded a local Bosnian Croat paramilitary force in the Vitez region in central Bosnia during the 1992-1995 Bosnian war.
