U2 lead singer Bono became a father for the fourth time today after his wife Ali gave birth to a boy, a spokeswoman for the band said.

The baby, weighing seven pounds and seven ounces, was born early this morning in a Dublin hospital.
"Mum, dad, and baby are in good shape", the spokeswoman said. She said the boy had not yet been named.
Bono, whose real name is Paul Hewson, is taking a week's break from U2's Elevation tour of North America to be with his wife in Dublin. He is due to rejoin the band on Thursday for a concert in Toronto in Canada.
Bono and his wife already have two daughters, Jordan (11) and Eve (9) and a son Elijah, who will be two in August.
