Ocracoke - After lashing the US south-east coast for three days, Hurricane Bonnie lost its punch yesterday as it headed into cooler Atlantic waters. Bonnie, which hit land on Wednesday at North Carolina's Cape Fear, was downgraded to a tropical storm for a second time as it pushed north. Two people died in Bonnie's wake in the Carolinas.
