BoI appoints corporate banking CEO

Mr Richie Boucher has been appointed CEO-designate of Bank of Ireland Group's corporate banking arm.

Mr Richie Boucher has been appointed CEO-designate of Bank of Ireland Group's corporate banking arm.

He will take over when the incumbent, Mr Jim Ruane, retires at the end of March next year.

According to a statement from the bank Mr Boucher has a "strong track record in corporate banking".

He is the regional managing director of the corporate banking arm and previously worked as head of corporate and business banking with Ulster Bank.
