The body of a Dublin-born television cameraman has been found two weeks after his helicopter crashed into the Pacific Ocean off the coast of the United States.

Mr Sean O`Kane (36), originally from Blackrock, worked for Channel 8 in San Diego.

He died after the helicopter he was piloting crashed into the sea in heavy fog on August 26th. It was Mr O'Kane's last flight before obtaining his private fliers licence.

An extensive search of a 35-mile stretch of coast line between San Diego and Long Beach involving friends, divers and the coastguard was launched.
