A 70-year-old man whose body was discovered in a house in Portadown, Co Armagh, on Monday night may have been dead for several weeks, neighbours said yesterday. The man was named as Mr Frederick McMinn.
The RUC was called to the house after neighbours became suspicious as the occupant had not been seen for several weeks. Police discovered the body in the kitchen and it was removed for a post-mortem. A crime is not suspected.
