Police in Belfast are investigating two off-licence robberies in the city last night that they believe to be linked.

At 8.30 p.m. a man with a kitchen knife entered an off-licence on the Old Park Road in the city, holding up staff and escaping with cash and alcohol.

The second hold-up occurred at 8.45 p.m. on the nearby Crumlin Road, when two men, one armed with a kitchen knife, stole cash.

No one was injured in the raids. Police are seeking two men in their twenties.
