Ulster Bank workers in the Republic have voted to accept amended proposals on staff grading, ending months of negotiation and averting strike action.system were tabled by the company last year.

A second set of proposals was rejected in the Republic by members of the Irish Bank Officials' Association (IBOA) in April. This was accepted by staff in Northern Ireland.
