Back in action

FG leader John Bruton will be guest of honour at a special party in the Cahir House Hotel in Co Tipperary on Monday night to welcome back Deputy Therese Ahearn who has been out of Leinster House for a whole year due to serious illness. She expects many of her party colleagues to turn up as well as constituency members from Tipp South. She has had a rough time, she says, and now has a different attitude to life. But her energy is coming back and she feels able to face the whips after a holiday in Boston. She will be back in the Dail either next week or the week after.
