London - A British artist, Ms Tracey Emin said yesterday she should have won the Turner Prize.
Ms Emin was short-listed for the prize in 1999 with My Bed, a soiled, unmade bed covered with the detritus of her life - from soiled knickers and condoms to champagne corks.
"I should have won the Turner prize but knew I wouldn't because it's political," she told The Radio Times.
