The Army bomb disposal team yesterday made safe three viable improvised explosive devices in one location in Ballymun.

The Army bomb disposal team yesterday made safe three viable improvised explosive devices in one location in Ballymun.

The Defence Forces deployed the team to a derelict building on Ballystruan Lane, just off the Ballymun Road, in response to a Garda request yesterday afternoon.

The team reached the scene at 4.10pm and made safe three viable devices which were found in the building without carrying out a controlled explosion. The scene was declared safe at 5.20pm.
