The Army's bomb disposal team made safe an explosive device in Clondalkin, Dublin, overnight.

The Army's bomb disposal team made safe an explosive device in Clondalkin, Dublin, overnight.

The team arrived at a Greenfort Park address at 12.25am in response to a request by gardaí and carried out a controlled explosion on the improvised device.

The scene was declared safe at 3.15am.

This is the third callout for Army bomb disposal teams in the past 24 hours.
