No one was injured when two British army checkpoints on the Fermanagh Border were attacked by gunfire late on Wednesday

No one was injured when two British army checkpoints on the Fermanagh Border were attacked by gunfire late on Wednesday. At around 9.25 p.m. a high velocity shot hit a British army look out post at Killyvilly, near Roslea. A burst of gunfire followed this shot.

At 9.55 p.m., 30 rounds of automatic gunfire was directed at Clonatty Bridge permanent checkpoint.
