Army bomb squads investigate devices in North

A number of suspicious devices are being inspected at locations in Northern Ireland.

A number of suspicious devices are being inspected at locations in Northern Ireland.

British army bomb experts were called after a number of telephone warnings. They are searching for a suspicious device believed to be hidden somewhere between Coleraine and Garvagh, Co Derry.

A bomb squad has also closed the road between Garvagh and Maghera, north of Swatragh, Co Derry to inspect a device found there.

Another device at a GAA club near Castledawson has been cleared and is now being examined.
