Police in Derry were yesterday searching for an armed gang which held up staff at a bank on the outskirts of the city shortly after lunchtime. Three masked men, two of them armed with sawn-off shotguns, held staff and customers at gunpoint in the Glenshane Road branch of the Northern Bank before escaping with an undisclosed sum of money.
