London - The aristocrat artist, Anthony-Noel Kelly, could be freed from prison within days after successfully appealing yesterday against his nine-month sentence.
Kelly, who was jailed last month for what a judge called the "revolting" theft of human remains from the Royal College of Surgeons, lost his appeal against conviction at the Court of Appeal but saw his sentence reduced to three months.
His lawyers believe he could be released within the next few days after serving six weeks of his sentence in Brixton Prison. Kelly (42), a nephew of the Duke of Norfolk, used the stolen body parts to make controversial sculptures.
