Detectives and relatives of a young supermarket worker knifed to death renewed their appeal today for information on a man gardaí would like to question.

Polish man Alexander Nadwodny is being sought by gardaí in relation to the killing outside a Galway nightclub last month. Kieran Cunningham was knifed in a busy part of the city on June 3rd.

Mr Cunningham’s uncle Martin urged people protecting Nadwodny to come forward. “I am representing Kieran’s family here today because they are too distraught to speak,” he said.

“The person who is responsible for Kieran’s death does not deserve the support they are getting from people. I am appealing to anyone with information to contact Crimestoppers.”
