Gardaí in Mayo have issued an appeal for witnesses to a road crash in which a young woman was killed.
The two-car collision occurred at 8.20pm on Friday at Cloonlara, Swinford on the N5.
The 25-year-old woman driver of one of the cars was taken to Castlebar General Hospital with serious injuries. She was transferred to St James's Hospital in Dublin where she died earlier today.
Her name has not yet been released.
