DUBLIN - Amnesty International said yesterday that "a shadow game" was taking place between the EU and Ankara, over human rights in Turkey.
Ms Mary Lawlor of Amnesty's Irish section criticised a "16 line paragraph" which she said was an inadequate EU response. "The EU pretends to be concerned about human rights in Turkey and Turkey pretends to respond," she said In a press statement.
